Tiago is a Portuguese photographer and artist currently based in Lisbon. With almost a decade of experience in the film industry, in both the UK and Germany, he is now focusing on developing his creative vision through photography.

His journey began with a Bachelor's degree in Architecture in 2007, followed by a successful career in film. In 2021, he embarked on an MA in Photojournalism and Documentary Photography at the University of the Arts London, seeking to deepen his artistic expression and storytelling abilities. This experience, enriched by interactions with talented peers, sparked a new perspective in his photography, emphasising intentionality, a slower pace, and a more meaningful message.

Driven by a love for the outdoors and a curiosity about human connection, Tiago is constantly developing work that explores the complex and often conflicting relationship between humans and the natural world. His photography seeks to capture the beauty and fragility of nature while raising questions about our impact on the environment and the need for a more harmonious coexistence.

Tiago is actively seeking collaborations with gallerists, editors, and publishers to further develop his work and reach a wider audience. He believes that through meaningful partnerships, he can create impactful visual narratives that inspire dialogue and contribute to a more sustainable future.
